tup is what you type when you mean tuple: an ordered list of things that have nothing to do with each other. That’s the plan.

The old rules still apply. Most people just stopped following them.

TupLab is the name I intend to keep.

That's the reason the house exists before the software does. Reputation attaches to a publisher, not to a product — one name, warmed once, is inherited by everything that comes after it. A new name for every product starts over every time.

So the roof goes up first, and deliberately: nothing that ships under it gets to define it.


If you can't explain it, it isn't done.

Not a virtue. A test something can fail.
